This is my first blog post and it’s an honor to announce the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition has decided to make their Wide Open Exhibition an online exhibition. It’s easy to be an artist during the Covid-19 pandemic since working alone in my studio is what I love to do. It’s not easy to exhibit, though, so this is one way to show without the potential to catch the virus. It will become available on May 30th at https://bwac.org/online-exhibitions. My piece is titled, “Chaos Cosmos” and it features a portrait of Carl Jung and a quote of his, “In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order”. I have a small series of works that feature health professionals since I am a registered nurse and I believe too often visual art features celebrities, politicians or the wealthy.
