Marilyn Mitchell is an award-winning NY visual artist. Born in Queens, NY, she’s lived in NY, Paris, France, Massachusetts, Illinois and California. She studied painting & printmaking in NY, LA & Illinois. Her work is inspired by Warhol, Ryman and Ruppersberg, plus popular media, which includes printed media and websites & how they reflect our culture. Her primary media is oil paint on Yupo paper, though she also creates sculpture using a variety of objects. In addition to being an artist, she is a Certified Black Belt Nia Technique instructor. 

She currently works in NYC as a Nurse Ethicist.
